PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defect marking apparatus that allows defective parts to be confirmed easily, and preventing conforming parts from being used due to the transfer of the wet ink at a marking section to a carrying roll and that of the wet ink from the carrying roll to the succeeding sheet material.;SOLUTION: The defect marking apparatus 1 comprises an inspection apparatus 2 for detecting defects in the sheet material 7 to be carried continuously and acquiring the positions of the defects on the sheet material 7; a laminating apparatus 3 for laminating a protective film on the surface of the sheet material 7; a marking apparatus 4 for making the protective film; and a control unit 5 for controlling the marking apparatus 4 so that the positions of defects acquired by the inspection apparatus 2 are transferred to the marking apparatus 4 for marking at a position corresponding to the defects of the sheet material 7 on the protective film or locations near the position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
