PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DICOM medium information management system capable of restoring contents even when a DICOM medium trouble, and easily searching the content of each DICOM medium.;SOLUTION: This DICOM medium information management system is provided with: terminals 13, 14 and 15 which can display the medical information stored in the DICOM medium by inserting the DICOM medium; and a DICOM directory storing means 16 which is connected to the terminals through a network 12 and stores the contents of a DICOMDIR file with respect to the medical information stored in the DICOM medium.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
