PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely control pest insects dropped from a plant by liquid jetting. PSOLUTION: The liquid-jetting type pest insect-controlling device in plant water culture is constituted as follows. Driven belt wheels are axially supported by the front and rear parts of a cultivation vessel storing a culture liquid respectively. A driven belt is stretched from the rear driven belt wheel to the front driven belt wheel so as to be driven to form an upper traveling passage of the driven belt. The driven belt is reversed from the front driven belt wheel to travel the lower part of the cultivation vessel to form a lower traveling passage, and endlessly returned to the rear driven belt wheel. Many plant-planting panels are connected to the endless driven belt so as to travel by being accompanied with the travel of the endless belt. The plant-planting panels take positions in which the plant-planting panel enables the roots to be soaked in the culture liquid in a normal posture directing the leaf and stem part upward when being present on the upper traveling passage, and when being present on the lower traveling passage, the plant takes an inverted posture directing the leaf and stem part downward. A liquid-jetting nozzle for jetting a liquid to the leaf and stem part of the plant-planting panel traveling in the inverted posture is arranged at the lower traveling passage, and a pest insect collecting vessel including a liquid is installed in the lower position of the leaf and stem part.
