PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display driving device and a display device whose power consumption is reduced, and a driving control method for the display driving device.;SOLUTION: The display driving device has a gradation amplifier AMP which outputs a plurality of voltages generated by dividing a prescribed voltage according to the number of gradations as a plurality of gradation voltages to a display panel, a selection switch SW which selects one of the plurality of gradation voltages according to a gradation value of display data and applies it to each of a plurality of signal lines, a comparing circuit 26 which compares the gradation value of the display data with a gradation value of a reference signal REF, and an amplifier power supply control circuit 271 which controls a set value of the current driving capability of the gradation amplifier AMP according to the comparison result.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
