PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agent for promoting osteogenesis and inhibiting bone resorption, having osteogenesis-promoting activities and bone resorption-inhibiting activities; and further to provide a food and drink, medicine or fodder for promoting the osteogenesis and inhibiting bone resorption. PSOLUTION: This agent for promoting the osteogenesis and inhibiting the bone resorption contains any one kind or more of prothrombin, cytochrome P-450, plasminogen, transferrin, thrombin and plasmin as active ingredients. The food and drink, medicine or fodder for promoting the osteogenesis and inhibiting the bone resorption is obtained by formulating any one kind or more of the prothrombin, the cytochrome P-450, the plasminogen, the transferrin, the thrombin and the plasmin as active ingredients.
