Fish nest mangrove revetment block and revetment method using it

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively form a living area of aquatic living organisms such as fish in spite of a disaster prevention type and enable formation of a bank protection using a large type block having a large space inside thereof or a continuous block body. PSOLUTION: The bank protection block is provided with a unit block body (2) which has a lower part comprising support members (3) of three or more embedded in and erected on a river floor or a sea floor and side plate members (4) for coupling the two support members and has opened upper and lower parts and a space inside thereof. The unit block bodies are arranged in plural lines at least in one direction to form the continuous block body (1). The side plate member has an opening (5) having at least a part thereof to be submerged under water surface.
