PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic detection device capable of appropriately and promptly removing a tire bead, in tire attaching/detaching equipment provided with a wheel support body G mounted for rotation around a rotational shaft of a tired wheel 9 of which bead is required to be released and with a pair of expansion arms T₁, T₂ with bead release rolls R₁, R₂ which are constituted so as to support each of the bead release rolls R₁, R₂ and positioned in both sides of the tired wheel 9 when used.;SOLUTION: This detection device has at least one sensor member 3 movably supported by each of the bead release rolls R₁, R₂; a drive means 5 for movably driving each sensor member 3 between a contracted stationary position and an extended work position; and an electronic control unit 34 constituted so as to act by responding to a control signal generated by the sensor member 3 in the work position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
