PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic solution for a dye-sensitized solar cell which is hard to be voporized, effective for the stabilization of cell performance, and furthermore in which the improvement of cell performance without containing t-butyl pyridine is possible, and provide the dye-sensitized solar cell using this electrolytic solution.;SOLUTION: In the electrolytic solution for the dye-sensitized solar cell, a liquid imidazole compound is contained, and an alkylene carbonate is added as a characteristic improver. This electrolytic solution for the dye-sensitized solar cell preferably contains MPI 10.1 to 10 mole, ethylene carbonate 10 to 60 wt%, and a redox material 0.1 to 5 mole against γ-butyrolactone 1 L.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
