AUTOMATIC NOISE CONTROL DEVICE IN CATV LINE AND CATV SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic noise control device in a CATV line, which achieves introduction to a CATV system without fixing a frequency use plan of an up line into the future, and to provide the CATV system.;SOLUTION: An arbitrary frequency at which a noise level should be measured is selected by an automatic noise control indication received from a control center. In accordance with an all band measurement indication received from the control center, a frequency setting means (MCU 6) sets a center frequency of a noise level measurement means 2 while automatically successively changing the center frequency at fixed intervals within a range of a frequency band of the up line, and digital data resulting from measurement by the noise level measurement means during the successive change of the center frequency of the noise level measurement means is stored in a storage means (MCU 6), and a transmission means (MCU 6) transmits the digital data resulting from the measurement, which is stored in the storage means, to the control center.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
