PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even an unskillful person to form a proper V-shape on the special lens, such as a positive-power eyeglass lens.;SOLUTION: A determination method includes a step (S741) of determining the V-shape curvature based on a concave curvature, when the V-shape is formed to a positive-power glasses lens; a step (S742) of determining a V-shape reference position on the edge in the minimum thickness part, based on the thickness value of the minimum thickness part of the lens; a step (S743) of determining the curve correction value, based on the ratio between the concave curvature and the convex curvature of the positive-power lens; and a step (S744) of determining a V-shape path that has a curvature obtained by adding curve correction value to the V-shape curvature and that passes through the V-shape reference position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
