PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally controlled stage connected to the inside of one arm of a bridge of a capillary bridge viscometer so as to balance the bridge in an original place and supply an accurate measurement signal.;SOLUTION: The thermally controlled stage includes a tuning capillary piping section wound on a heat conduction core. A resistance heater or Peltier thermoelectric element is arranged near the capillary piping section. The heater or Peltier thermoelectric element, and the capillary piping section are arranged in a heat insulation housing. The resistance heater or Peltier element varies the temperature of the capillary piping section, and suitably varies flow rate impedance of the tuning capillary piping section of the arm of the bridge connected with the thermally controlled stage. The temperature of the capillary piping section is monitored and adjusted until the pressure difference in the bridge is removed and the balance of the bridge is adjusted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
