PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple remote monitoring system using a mobile telephone device with a camera.;SOLUTION: A photographing unit 20 comprises a control unit for performing photography by remote operation, and stores a keyword allowing access to the control unit and the address of an origination telephone device corresponding to the keyword into a RAM 18. It is distinguished whether a text of a received e-mail matches with the keyword for control registered beforehand or not. If it matches, a photo is automatically taken with a camera, and a transmitting unit 12 transmits photographing data photographed by the photographing unit 20 to the mail address for remote control registered beforehand.
