PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent monomer compound and a fluorescent sensor substance superior in detectability of saccharides such as glucose, and a saccharides-measuing sensor which uses the fluorescent sensor substance.;SOLUTION: The fluorescent monomer compound, which emits a fluorescence by bonding with saccharides and in which a hydrophilic group is introduced into a hydrophobic portion, and the fluorescent sensor substance which is obtained by copolymerizing the fluorescent monomer compound and a polymerizable monomer having a (meth)acrylamide residue, are provided.
