PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply obtain a high-purity conidium having a uniform particle diameter without contaminating the conidium with solid matters derived from hyphal pieces or a culture medium.;SOLUTION: This high-purity conidium of a mold comprises a liquid surface dried material of a liquid culture product of the mold, has 2-10 μm volume median particle diameter and ≤0.75 difference of respective common logarithmic values between 90% volume diameter and 10% volume diameter. The method for producing the high-purity conidium comprises subjecting the mold to stationary culture in a container containing a liquid culture medium, producing the conidium on the liquid surface, then drying the culture product, adsorbing the resultant mycelium on the container wall and removing the mycelium during the time when the high-purity conidium of the mold is produced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
