PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-stage noise shaping quantizer which stably operates without overflowing or oscillating while not setting a margin or setting a less margin even in the case that 0dB inputs are successively input and a limiter frequently operates.;SOLUTION: The multi-stage noise shaping quantizer controls the increase in amount of quantization errors, which occur in a first noise shaping quantizer 27 when the limiter operates, by an amplitude control means, whereby the increase of quantization errors fed back to an input of the first noise shaping quantizer 27 can be suppressed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
