PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of unicast data transmitted by a route different from a route of multicast data.;SOLUTION: When a multicast reception request 6 is received, a state determining means 1c determines whether all links on predetermined transmission path to a multicast transmission terminal device 3 are connected. A multicast reception request transmitting means 1d transmits the multicast reception request 6 by the predetermined transmission path when the all the links on the predetermined transmission path are connected and transmits the multicast reception request 6 by a different transmission path when a disconnected link exists on the predetermined transmission path. When multicast data 7 outputted from the multicast transmission terminal device 3 are received, by a multicast data transferring means 1e, the multicast data 7 are transmitted from a communication interface 1f to which the multicast reception request 6 is inputted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
