PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an address acquisition apparatus capable of acquiring an IPv6 global address of a neighboring node easily.;SOLUTION: The address acquisition apparatus transmits a predetermined packet to a link local multicast address. When a response latency time defined beforehand is past, the apparatus acquires an address information from a neighboring cache. The apparatus replaces a prefix of a link local address with a prefix of a global address to create each global address candidate, and associates with a link layer address respectively to store it at an address candidate storage means. Then, the apparatus transmits the predetermined packet to each global address candidate stored at the address candidate storage means one by one (S26). When a response latency time is past, the apparatus acquires an address information from a neighboring cache.
