PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hardware function varying printing device that distributes a processing load and is suitable for reducing fast printing time or printing time.;SOLUTION: A host terminal 100 stores reconfigurable data capable of forming a circuit to realize a printing data processing function specializing in data processing of intermediate printing data it generates, and sends the reconfigurable data and the intermediate printing data to a printer 200. When receiving the reconfigurable data and the intermediate printing data, the printer 200 reconstructs the hardware area of a hardware circuit 10 on the basis of the reconfigurable data received, converts the intermediate printing data received to printing data by the hardware circuit 10, prints based on the printing data processed by the hardware circuit 10, and transfers the reconfigurable data received to the other printer 200.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
