PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discover settings to attain a target score by automatically changing the settings of a log analysis tool, and doing trial and error.;SOLUTION: The log analysis tool divides a log file to be analyzed into sessions each consisting of one or more logs, analyzes each session, and outputs the level of abnormality of each session or the like as a score of analysis. The target score designated by a user about each of the logs is converted to a target score for each session, and the settings of the log analysis tool are repeatedly changed and evaluated so that the score of analysis output by the log analysis tool meets the target score for each session.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
