PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape lapping device which sets, for one opening/closing arm opening/closing drive source, a plurality of proper clamp forces appropriate for a machining portion, by coping with change of a workpiece by automatically changing a plurality of tape holder integral type cassette shoe assemblies.;SOLUTION: The tape lapping device has the tape holder integral type cassette shoe assembly 10 assembled as the cassette 10 which integrally exchanges a pair of opening/closing arms 1, 1 supporting the shoe assembly 2, a clamp shaft 11 opening/closing the arm, a tape supply holder 6, and a tape take-up holder 7. The pressing force of a pressing device pressing a wedge device 8 mounted to the clamp shaft 11 opening/closing a pair of opening/closing arms 1, 1 is, set to be constant, and the appropriate clamp force of the opening/closing arms 1, 1 where the shoe assembly 2, 2 clamp the surface of the workpiece 3, is obtained by exchanging the wedge device 8 having a tapered angle surface of different tapered angle α respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
