PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide boiler equipment and an operation method for it for reducing NOx concentration and CO concentration in good proportion.;SOLUTION: This boiler equipment 1 is constructed of a fuel burner 3 feeding fuel and air into a combustion furnace 2 for combustion, an after-air nozzle 4 having a swirl flow air nozzle 12 and a contracted flow air nozzle 13 arranged on the downstream side of the fuel burner 3, and a heat exchange means.
