PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrector of the channel width capable of efficiently correcting the deformation of the channel width with high accuracy which is caused when a steel member of channel section such as a longitudinal rib provided for reinforcement on a lower side of a steel slab of a bridge is subjected to the heating and bending operation.;SOLUTION: A channel width expansion-corrector 7 is provided with an abutting member 21 which slides in the channel width direction and is abutted on the steel member 1 from the inside of the channel by a hydraulic cylinder 23 with respect to a body traveling inside the upwardly directed steel member 1 with the channel-like section in the longitudinal direction by a roller 8. A channel width reduction-corrector 31 is provided with an abutting member which slides in the channel width direction and is abutted on the steel member from the outside of the channel by a hydraulic cylinder 45 with respect to a body traveling on the channel edge in the longitudinal direction of the steel member 1 by a roller 33.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
