PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide liquidize seaweeds such as tangle or Undaria pinnatifida to use the liquidized seaweeds as a food material, a raw material for health functional foods or medicines for humans, or as a feed for cultured fishes or animals. PSOLUTION: This liquidized seaweeds are produced by mixing seaweeds such as tangle or wakame seaweed with fresh water in an amount of three times the amount of the seaweeds and with sodium bicarbonate in an amount of 3 mass% based on the total amount of the seaweeds and fresh water, boiling the obtained solution, cooling the heated solution at 60C, adding an enzyme consisting mainly of cellulase, pectinase or the like to liquidize the seaweeds, and then cooling the liquidized seaweeds.
