PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a TOCHUKASO (a mushroom that grows parastically on the bodies of insects and spiders) not having a meat or fish smell, having a slightly mild sweet taste, and excellent in flavor, smell, taste and color by culturing the TOCHUKASO in a culture medium containing the components of silk pupas as a main component and then subjecting the cultured TOCHUKASO to a drying, cutting and heating treatments. SOLUTION: This TOCHUKASO tea preferably containing the TOCHUKASO in a dry amount of =10 wt.% is obtained by culturing the TOCHUKASO such as Cordyceps militaris, Cordyceps lakaomontana Y.Kobay, etc., drying the TOCHUKASO, subjecting the dried TOCHUKASO to a cutting treatment using a hole-punched metal plate and a cutting frame disposed on the punched metal plate, and then thermally treating the cut TOCHUKASO. The TOCHUKASO tea preferably further contains mulberry leaves, and is preferably received in a liquid-permeable bag to prepare a tea bag.
