PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tree display improved so as not to impair the listing display property of a hierarchical structure.;SOLUTION: A scroll environment setting processing part 24 screen-displays a scroll bar and area changing symbols at both ends of the scroll bar over a branch connecting nodes having a continued positional relation on two identical layers on a tree display corresponding to a moving position of a mouse cursor by a user. According to dragging operation of the area changing symbols by the user, the length of the scroll bar is adjusted. After the end of dragging, the processing part 24 sets a scroll display area for the length of the scroll bar. A scroll display processing part 26 scroll-displays a node group of the lower layer displayed in the branch part within the set scroll display area according to scroll operation to the scroll bar by the user.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
