PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly and automatically generate an operation button made to enable a user to easily retrieve, analyze and utilize XML format data from XML data.;SOLUTION: This method for generating an operation button includes automatically generating and storing an XML data table in a storage device based on XML data stored in a storage device, and storing schemer definition automatically generated by analyzing the XML data and a value desired to be extracted from the XML data with button information composed of the object of buttoning and the object of extraction classified into the object of reference in the storage device as an XML data structure definition table, and extracting the data pertinent to the button information from the XML data, and automatically generating and storing a field corresponding to the object of extraction and records corresponding to data units in the storage device, and automatically generating and displaying an XML button making a button class corresponding to the field and individual buttons as unique values appearing in the field at a display device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
