PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new age snack bean confectionery easily acceptable to a consumer class of conventional bean confectionery through taking over a Japanese bean confectionery tradition and also to a child/young class because of its new revolutionary taste. PSOLUTION: The snack bean confectionery has a coating layer having potato powder and arranged on the circumference of nuts. A method for producing the snack bean confectionery comprises sticking potato powder to the circumference of nuts by an aqueous liquid to form a coating layer having potato powder on the circumference of the granular food, and performing heat treatment.
