PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic effective for the prevention of aging which fundamentally improves the aging of the skin, does not adversely affect the skin, and can be safely used. PSOLUTION: The extract obtained from the seeds of the plants belonging to Cucurbitaceae exhibits a remarkable action to ameliorate the firmness/wrinkle of the skin by activating the hyaluronic acid production capacity of keratinocytes to increase the production of an extracellular matrix.
