ENABLED CARBON MONOLYTIC CATALYST AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTING A MONOLYTIC ACTIVATED CARBON CATALYST AND FOR CHEMICAL CATALYTIC REACTION. A monolithic activated carbon catalyst comprising a self-supporting, activated carbon monolith, finished, having at least one passage therethrough, and comprising a support matrix and substantially discontinuous activated carbon particles dispersed throughout the support matrix and at least a catalyst precursor over the finished self-supporting activated carbon monolith. A method for manufacturing, and a method for using, such a monolithic activated carbon catalyst in catalytic chemical reactions are also described.
