Modular structure of hydride atomizers for atomic absorption spectrometry

In the present invention, there is disclosed a hydride atomization apparatus for atomic absorption spectrometry for determining elements forming volatile compounds. The apparatus according to the present invention employs a modular atomizer structure in the form of L letter. Horizontal arm of the atomizer consists of two concentric tubes (1, 2), en inner tube and an outer tube, coupled and sealed at their both ends by Teflon intermediate rings (3), only. The inner optical tube (1) is thus easily replaceable and can be made of arbitrary suitable material. A quartz window (5) is inserted on said inner optical tube (1) supply end where is the outlet of a tube (6) serving for the supply of hydride into the atomizer.
