A BELL PUSH SWITCH USED FOR ACTIVATING ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT OF AN ELECTRIC BELL

A bell push switch for activating electrical circuit of an electric bell comprising a housing with an actuator, the said housing containing a contact terminal having a contact button and a pivot terminal having a fulcrum, the said actuator being provided with a spring loaded slider having a pointed tip, characterized in that a flat conducting member having a contact button on one of the surfaces and a sloping profile on the opposite surface, said flat conducting member being held between the said pointed tip of the spring loaded slider and the said fulcrum of the pivot terminal with the said tip of the spring loader slider resting at the foot of the slope, so that, normally the contact buttons of the said flat conducting member and the contact terminal are not in contact and when pressure is applied on the actuator part, the pointed tip of the spring loaded slider slides up the slope on the said flat conducting member to make contact between the contact buttons of the conducting member and the contact terminal, whereas when the pressure on the actuator is released, the pointed tip of the slider returns back to the foot of the slope by sliding down the slope.
