'CELLULASE ENZYME COMPOSITION PRODUCING STRAIN OF CHRYSOSPORIUM LUCKNOWENSE GARG 27 K AND MUTANTS THEREOF'

The present invention relates to a strain of Chrysosporium lucknowense Garg 27 K having Accession No. VKM F-3500 D; mutant strains derived from the aforementioned strain, mutant strains designated: UV 18-25; UV 13-6; and NG7C-19 having Accession numbers: VKM F-3631 D; VKM F-3632 D; and VKM F-3633 D, respectively; all deposited at International depository of All Russian Collection of Microorganisms of the Russian Academy of Sciences; all the aforesaid strains characterized by the capability of producing a cellulase enzyme composition having activity at neutral and/or alkaline pH of upto 12 and a temperature range of 40°C to 90°C which has application in textile and paper industry.
