According to the invention, a support frame is contained in the housing of the plug-in module, with one printed circuit board in each of the exterior sides of the support frame, between which, supported by the support frame, a third printed circuit board is mounted in such a way that the necessary creep- and air gaps are created by the support frame between the parallel oriented printed circuit boards and the protective elements located there and that, in addition, the housing firmly surrounds the sandwich configuration of printed circuit boards and support frames.
