The arrangement (100) has lacquering robots (12, 32) which are arranged on traversing rails (14, 34), where the robots are movable on the traversing rails along a displacement direction. The traversing rails are movable relative to a stationary reference point parallel to a working surface. The traversing rails are connected with carriers (16, 18, 36, 38) which allow traverse movement of the traversing rail. The traversing rails are arranged parallel to each other and are rigidly coupled with each other. The carriers support the traversing rails and are movable using a drive. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a lacquering cabin comprising a lacquering device (2) a method for coating a workpiece.
