The invention relates to an element for hydrologic protection to prevent water resulting from the increase of a river or lake level to damage civil or industrial constructions placed in flood-threatened areas of towns or villages, or forests or agricultural fields. According to the invention the element consists of a package of normally run and worn tyres (1) joined to one another by means of some wires (2) made of concrete steel, passing through some equally spaced holes (a) which are placed in the close vicinity of a bead (b) of the tyre (1), thereby forming an enclosure (e) filled with some polyethylene-terephthalate containers (6) of any shape and capacity, filled with water and sealed by some cap screws (7), the enclosure (e) being closed at its ends by some caps (4) limited by some square-shaped collars (3) linked to some diametral segments (d) and the ends of some branches (c) of the wires (2) joining the tyres (1), a gap (f) between the containers (6) being either left free or filled with a concrete material (9).
