The invention relates to a laboratory installation for determining hydrodynamic performance of a bubble diffuser used for the aeration/oxygenation of clean or waste water in lakes, wells or swimming pools. According to the invention, the installation comprises a water-filled tank (1) of parallelipipedal shape, made of transparent material, wherein there is immersed a bubble diffuser (2) to be tested whereto there is connected, by means of a system comprising some pipes (3) and hoses (4), a rotameter (5) for measuring the flow rate of the air introduced through a diffuser (2) by means of a compressor (6) with compressed air, and also a manometer (7) for measuring the pressure drop in the diffuser (2) to be tested, besides achieving a good visualization of the aeration phenomena.
