The invention relates to a heat pump for supplying the heating medium at two different temperature levels, meant to be used in two different systems for heating and preparing the hot domestic water. According to the invention, the pump comprises two circuits specific to the heat pumps, a low pressure circuit which supplies the low temperature heating medium and a high pressure circuit supplying the high temperature heating medium, the two circuits being interconnected in cascade by means of a condenser-vaporizer (3) playing the role of a heat exchanger, the low temperature heating medium from a circuit (7) being heated by means of a condenser (4), while the higher temperature heating medium from a circuit (11) is heated by means of a condenser (9), the flexibility of the work condition being obtained by controlling or adequately cutting off the circuits (7 and 11) and a compressor (8), respectively, and the condensing process in the low pressure circuit is carried out in two heat exchangers, a condenser-vaporizer (3) and a condenser (4), the order in which the two heat exchangers are mounted allowing to carry out the two heat pump embodiments.
