The invention relates to a resilient linear pneumatic actuator intended to be used in pneumatic drives, e.g. in robotics or in power equipments. According to the invention, the actuator comprises a flexible element (2) and some co-axially mounted tubes (8, 9 and 10) made integral to one another by vulcanization, on the end of each tube there being mounted a pneumatic fitting (3) comprising a nipple (11), a nut (13), a resilient bushing (5), a sealing ring (6), and a pneumatic fitting (4) comprising a nipple (12) and a nut (13), the flexible element (1) consisting of an outer tube (8) made of a support-structure arranged in a cylindrical-helical manner on a certain direction and made of a mesh of parallel fibres (14), a resilient fibre-binding foil (15) and a vulcanization rubber (16), an inner tube (9), also made of a support-structure arranged in a cylindrical-helical manner on a direction opposite to the outer tube (8) and made of a mesh of parallel fibres (17), a resilient fibre-binding foil (18) and another vulcanization rubber (19), and an intermediate tube (10) made of one or several textile structures arranged lengthwise and containing a mesh of n parallel fibres (20), a resilient fibre-binding foil (21) and another vulcanization rubber (22).
