Pharmaceutical composition comprising 2 to 8 mg of 5-[4-[2-(N-2-methyl-N-pyridyl)amino)ethoxy]benzyl]tiazolidin-2,4- dione (rosiglitazone) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a sub-maximal amount of glimepiride. The composition is intended for the treatment of diabetes mellitus and conditions associated with diabetes mellitus in mammals. The invention also relates to the use of the aforementioned pharmaceutical composition.
