A method for increasing gastroprotection in the experimental gastric ulcer provides for the combination of short-chain peptide with gastroprotectors, namely hexapeptide arginyl-alpha-aspartyl-lisyl-valyl-thyrosyl-arginin (immunofan) at a dose of 10 µg/kg and L-arginin at a dose of 300 mg/kg are injected intraperitoneally to the experimental animals on an empty stomach in the setting of the ulcerogenic lesion of gastric mucosa.
