PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF CATIONIC STARCHES

A process for the preparation of cationic starches for the production of paper and millboard is based on interaction of epichlorohydrin with triethanolamine. The cationization reactant prepared is dissolved in water and added to starch.
