METHOD FOR PUTTING POPULATIONS OF LEOPARD MOTH (ZEYZERA PYRINA Z.) INTO DEPRESSIVE CONDITION

A method for putting populations of the leopard moth (Zeyzera pyrina Z.) into depressive state includes spraying tree crowns in the vegetation period with aqueous solutions of preparations. In the period of beginning egg laying and mass egg laying of females of said moth two settlings of a laboratory culture of Trichogramma, an egg parasite of the leopard moth, onto trees are carried out. In the period of migration of caterpillars of said moth from leaf stalks up to penetrating thereof into branches overall spraying of trees with an aqueous solution of the preparation Lepidocide is carried out. Single spraying of the trees with an aqueous solution of the preparation Pecylomin is conducted 1-2 days prior to the beginning of migration of the caterpillars from the settled branches into new ones.
