A flat rope that in length is made stepped with increase of cross section of steps from one end of the rope top the other one, at that each step is chosen in such way that in width number of cords in it is(where- number of cords of the previous step, even number), and length of step section is taken from condition of equal strength of all the sections by length of the rope.
