METHOD FOR PREDICTING RENAL IMPAIRMENT IN SYSTEMIC LUPUS ERYTHEMATOSUS

A method for predicting the renal impairment in systemic lupus erythematosus comprises the complete blood and urine analysis, the assay for the level of serum albumin, proteinuria, cylindruria, hematuria, homocysteine, and creatinine. Hyperhomocysteinemia 25 µM and increased creatinine level 100 µM are predictive of the severe renal impairment.
