METHOD FOR HEMOSTASIS IN RESECTION OF BRAIN TUMORS

A method for hemostasis in resection of brain tumors provides for implanting hemostatic material "Surgicel Nu-Knit" following the surgical resection of tumor. The hemostatic material is moistened with physiologic saline and exposed to semiconductor laser beam directed via wet "Surgicel Nu-Knit" onto the bleeding area.
