METHOD FOR SURVEY OF GAS DEPOSITS AT SEA

The invention relates to means for search of gas deposits at sea by data of satellite survey. Method for search of gas deposits at sea includes satellite survey in thermal range of electromagnetic waves, calculation by images obtained of maps of temperature of surface of sea and reveal of abnormalities there that are related to gas deposits. For account of shift of abnormality caused by shift because of flows of gas bubble flow from bottom of sea one uses floating buoy that is lowered to bottom of sea in point with known coordinates at satellite survey at area of search of gas deposits, with determination of coordinates of buoy at instant of its coming to surface of the sea and by difference of coordinates of points of its lowering and coming to surface one calculates shift of the buoy, corrected results of contour of abnormality of temperature decrease, location of gas liberation from bottom of the sea and location of deep gas deposit. The invention increases accuracy of determination of location of gas bearing objects.
