The invention relates to somatopsychic and psychotherapeutic medicine, in particular to an auxiliary medicinal effect for the change of eating behavior in individuals suffering from overweight. A method for human eating behavior correction using tanning substance provides for restriction in food consumption by preliminary psychological preparation and instruction of individual, interruption of meal at the moment which is determined by individual limit of food amount, and oral administration of effective dose of tanning substance.
