METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR STORING A SELECTED VIEW OF A THREE DIMENSIONAL IMAGE

A method of storing and restoring for replay a selected view from a series ofviews of a three dimensional image generated from an image object. The threedimensional image is generated in an image coordinate set of a coordinatespace, and is configurable to sequentially make each view in the series ofviews viewable. Each view in the series of views has an associatedconfiguration. The method comprises selecting a view from a series of views,storing an object unique identifier for the image object, storing theassociated configuration for the selected view of the three dimensional image,retrieving the object unique identifier, retrieving the image object using theobject unique identifier, retrieving the associated configuration for theselected view of a three dimensional image, generating the three dimensionalimage in the coordinate space from the image object, and configuring the threedimensional image to have the associated configuration for the selected viewto make the selected view viewable.
