The present invention provides an anti-constipation compositioncontaining a halogenated-bi-cyclic 15-keto prostaglandin derivative as anactiveingredient in a ratio of bi-cyclic/mono-cyclic structure of at least 1:1. Thehalogenated-bi-cyclic 15-keto prostaglandin derivative is represented byFormula(I):(see formula I)where X1 and X2 are preferably both fluorine atoms. The composition can beusedto treat constipation without substantive side-effects, such as stomachache.
