A cup tool includes a two-part elastomeric cup to contain fluidpressure. An outer surface of a cup tool tube has a lower region of a firstdiameter and an upper region with a second, larger diameter and a taperedregion between the upper region and the lower region. A bottom part of thetwo-part elastomeric cup includes a lip seal that rides against the outersurfaceof the cup tool tube, and seals against the tapered region of the cup tooltube toprovide a high pressure seal between the cup tool tube and the two-partelastomeric cup in the set position.
